Job Posting: Dental Assistant, CF – Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD) Location: San Diego, California – In Office Salary Range: $4,031.00 – $7,457.00 per month (12‑month limited term, full time) Number of Positions: Multiple Work Type: 12‑month Limited Term – Full Time; In Office Job Description and Duties Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist and/or Supervising Dental Assistant in the Correctional Facility, the Dental Assistant performs supportive dental procedures, maintains office order, supervises the conduct of inmates, directs their tasks, and protects the safety of persons and property in accordance with California Dental Board regulations and CDCR Dental Program policies. Working Conditions Travel within the state may be required. Minimum Requirements Minimum Qualifications as defined in the Classification Specification for Dental Assistant, Correctional Facility. Qualifications Applicants must have education and experience that meet the Minimum Qualifications outlined in the Classification Specification. Candidates possessing a current Dental Board of California (DBC) license or relevant training are a competitive fit.
