Plant Operator

Plant Operator (Open) – R10092573 Location: Miami, FL (Plt) – Filling industrial Responsibilities Coordinate cylinder filling to streamline cylinder handling: before out‑off, fill cylinders in stock; after out‑off, fill cylinders to meet customer requirements. Perform cylinder checking, reviewing new and returned cylinders and bundles (year test or tube accessories, paints, valves, caps, etc.), inspecting frames, manifolds, and sorting cylinders or bundles to the maintenance area. Carry out cylinder maintenance, including operation of hydro‑test machines, dryers, painting equipment, and ovens; conduct leak tests with soapy water; apply government‑compliant paint; perform hydro‑testing, valving/de‑valving, drying, and vacuum bake; maintain color and gas conformity; return cylinders to the filling area and initialize GTS barcodes after maintenance. Handle cylinder accessories, replacing defective parts, installing correct caps and valves, and attaching stickers according to product specifications and grades. Support quality checks, including dew point assessment per batch cylinder VBO and other product specifications; perform functional testing on analyzers if qualified. Qualifications Natural curiosity and problem‑solving skill for equipment needs. Excellent attention to detail and organized. Commitment to safety and protocol compliance. Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently. Flexibility to work shifts and occasional extra hours. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or related field (preferred). Technical certification in industrial operations (optional). Industrial gas experience (optional).
