A pharmacy opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist specializing in long-term care. This contract role is suited for candidates with solid experience in staff pharmacist responsibilities and prescription management within long-term care settings.

Location: Bella Vista, AR

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy for long-term care residents
• Manage medication inventory and maintain proper documentation
• Provide patient counseling and education regarding prescriptions and medication management
• Monitor patients for medication efficacy and side effects, adjusting therapy as needed
• Uphold pharmacy policies and procedures to maintain quality and safety standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in good standing
• Demonstrated experience as a Staff Pharmacist, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Proficient knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy operations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Effective communication skills to interact with healthcare teams and patients
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
