Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching credentials with specialization in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Proven background working with school-age students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and related accommodations
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to reliably attend in-person sessions; this position does not accept virtual support
- Flexibility and sensitivity to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and support to two DHH students, closely following IEP goals
- Foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
- Coordinate with school staff, families, and support personnel to ensure students' academic and social growth
- Track progress and participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on student development
- Utilize best practices and adaptive technologies or strategies tailored to each student’s needs
