As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and dedicated instructor to join our team and make a lasting impact on the lives of our littlest dancers. The Role As a Ballet Instructor at Tutu School, you’ll bring joy and creativity to every class, delivering age-appropriate lessons that spark a love of dance. You’ll build meaningful relationships with both students and families while maintaining a welcoming, organized studio space. Responsibilities Teach joyful, engaging ballet classes for students ranging from 6 months to 8 years old Create a warm, encouraging classroom where every child feels seen and celebrated Deliver lessons aligned with Tutu School’s established curriculum Provide personalized guidance and positive, constructive feedback to students Communicate with families regarding student progress, studio policies, and upcoming events Participate in studio performances and special events Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio environment Qualifications 1+ year of experience working with children ages 8 and under (required) Ballet or dance training with a solid foundational understanding of technique Confident, engaging teaching style that connects with young learners Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both children and parents Patient, enthusiastic, and genuinely child-centered approach 1+ year of dance teaching experience (required) Willingness to commute to West Portal, CA Eagerness to pursue professional development and growth (a plus) Compensation & Benefits $25.00+ per hour, based on experience Performance bonus incentives Paid training — no prior Tutu School experience required 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off Employee retail discount and apparel stipend Genuine opportunities for advancement within the studio The privilege of making a powerfully positive impact in the lives of young children How to Apply We’d love to hear from you!
