Details Acute care unit providing care for cardiopulmonary adult patients and neuro overflow adult patients 28-bed unit with cardiac telemetry and continuous pulse oximeter monitoring Nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 13-week assignment length Weekend requirement of up to 6 shifts within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage required based on department needs Requirements Active RN license (State or Compact) required BLS certification required (must be AHA) Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Must provide a US Social Security Number and US home address Additional Information Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient condition Serve as primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care Carry out physician and nursing orders Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply that can affect pay rate First-time travelers may be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-729240.
