Details Float position covering 28-bed cardiac telemetry units caring for all cardiac needs including post-op care Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6 Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs Level I trauma center serving a population of all ages Nurses work in teams supported by PCTs and a unit secretary Required to float to cardiac telemetry and med-surg departments Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage required if the department has a need Requirements Active RN license (Compact or OK) required AHA BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Must provide full SSN and DOB for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Two separate professional references required Additional Information Implements and monitors patient care plans, communicating patient condition as appropriate Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care Carries out physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate, with mileage varying by state American Traveler Job ID P-722782.
