Quality Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a vital part of the Quality Department, you will support the production process by ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in metal-spun products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement, aligning seamlessly with the company's mission to deliver excellence. Job Title: Quality Technician Location: Dayton, OH Pay Range: $20 Shift: 1st What's the Job? Perform in-process and final inspections of metal-spun parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify product compliance with quality standards. Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records. Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming products. Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure measurement accuracy. What's Needed? High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing quality control, preferably in metal fabrication or spinning. Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments. Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical drawings and specifications. What's in it for me?
