Overview:
Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day café and restaurant. Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual, yet elegant, environment. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, customer-focused candidate that can thrive in a positive work environment and deliver on high standards with enthusiasm.
Responsibilities:
- Building a positive relationship with guests and surrounding communities
- Adhere to recipes, work quickly and efficiently
- Attain exceptional knowledge on both food and beverage menus
- Ability to maintain and handle all equipment
- Establish rapport with new and regular customers
- Preparing coffee drinks to meet customer's expectations, as well as meeting quality standards
- Following all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols
Qualifications:
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic math skills
- 18+ to apply
- Barista experience preferred
- Available to work mornings/weekends/select holidays
