HR Intern, Summer 2026 (HQ)

Job Description POLITICO is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support the HR team with a focus on Workday administration, data management and reporting. This internship offers hands‑on experience in HR systems, analytics and day‑to‑day operational support within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Who You Are You’re a rising junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited university. You’re interested in Human Resources, HR Operations, HRIS, or People Analytics. What You’ll Do Provide administrative support within Workday, including data entry, updates, and system maintenance. Assist with HR data management and audits. Partner with HR team members on ad hoc projects as needed. What You’ll Need Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data, reports, and systems. Technically curious with the ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms (prior exposure to Workday or similar systems is a plus, but not required). Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
