About the role as a caregiver, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and individuals who need assistance remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Responsibilities vary by client and may include:Companionship and emotional supportBathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistanceMeal preparation and assistance with mealsMedication remindersWalking, transfers, and mobility assistanceLight housekeepingTransportation to appointments, errands, and outings when applicableAssistance with daily living activitiesFollowing individualized care plansCommunicating client changes, concerns, or incidents to managementTreating every client with patience, dignity, kindness, and respectWho we're looking for The right caregiver is:Reliable and punctualCompassionate, patient, and understandingProfessional and respectfulA strong communicatorAble to follow care plans and instructionsComfortable working independently and as part of a teamPhysically able to safely perform caregiver dutiesCommitted to providing quality care—not simply completing a shiftQualifications & requirementsCNA or HHA certification preferred, OR 1,000 hours of caregiving experience preferred, including approximately 6 months full-time or 12 months part-time caring for seniors or individuals with chronic illnessesExceptions may be considered for newly licensed CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs; significant family caregiving experience; or companionship/housekeeping-only positionsCurrent TB testReliable transportationValid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable vehicle if transporting clientsAbility to pass a national criminal background check and drug screeningAbility to meet applicable state and federal requirementsHomeWell Care Services is not currently offering visa sponsorship.What we offer We believe caregivers deserve to feel supported throughout their time with us.Flexible schedulingWorkers' compensation coverageProfessional liability insuranceSupportive office staffOngoing communication and management supportOpportunities to grow within the companyA team environment where your work is recognized and appreciatedMeaningful relationships with clients and familiesWhy HomeWell?
