Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer

Leading a variety of projects, the full-time remote Lead Nuclear Deterministic Safety Analysis Engineer will perform safety analyses for BWRX-300 applications, including thermal-hydraulic evaluations and transient analyses, while collaborating with a high-performing engineering team. Key responsibilities: Lead technical evaluations and analyses related to Anticipated Operational Occurrences and reactor heat balance Perform thermal hydraulic evaluations in areas such as containment and stability analysis Prepare and present technical reports and solutions to internal and external customers Required qualifications: B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or similar) At least 5 years of relevant nuclear experience Experience with BWR core simulation and thermal-hydraulic systems codes Knowledge of reactor licensing requirements Programming experience in languages such as C#, FORTRAN, or PYTHON
