What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.* Bake and create items for dining room, employee dining room, and coffee shop* Create pastry/dessert specials for sale in dining room and bar* Inventory and communicate with Chef and storekeeper to order all necessary recipe ingredients* Create prep lists and item pars for baking and pastry team* Create baking and pastry team schedule* Teaches and trains to advance skills of baking and pastry team* Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of baking and prep areas and equipment used by baking team* Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor* Assist as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets* Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed* Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job dutiesThis job description describes at a high level what a Pastry Chef does, but no document can anticipate every single task, issue or project that could come up.
