Materials Handler

Material Handler - Direct Placement!

I am seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Material Handler, where they will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and timely movement of materials within a warehouse environment. They will be responsible for picking parts according to customer orders and placing them in designated work areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in a traditional warehousing environment, picking parts according to customer orders.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
• Initiate and maintain ongoing open communication with customers, third-party vendors, and other internal departments to verify and escalate service orders.
• Move items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assist in counting and accurately tracking materials or items received or distributed, and help with the physical counting of inventory.
• Maintain inventory control and accurate records.
• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts.
• Respond to and resolve inquiries.
• Organize facility, warehouse, and/or work area for orderliness at all times (5S).
• Work a schedule deemed necessary to meet production goals and Key Performance Indicators, which may fluctuate based on business needs.
• Unload, depalletize, and transport server racks to designated locations.
• Receive, check, and book in deliveries.
• Perform picking and dispatching related activities.
• Unbox and re-box items.
• Assist with receipt and task queries.
• Perform 5S / housekeeping duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in material handling.
• Proficiency in packing and general labor tasks.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Knowledge of packaging and shipping processes.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Familiarity with picking and shipping/receiving operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Eagle Mountain, UT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46800.00 - $46800.00/yr. 401k health, vision, dental
