Job Summary

Emergency Room, Tehachapi: The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to patients while applying established standards of care and the nursing process. The position supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and exercises professional judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or American Red Cross (ARC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or American Red Cross (ARC) Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and acute care facility experience.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data; develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; coordinate care delivery; promote a safe and healing environment; collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers; provide health education; participate in discharge planning; and delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members.
• Additional Information: Required vaccinations must be maintained as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply. The assignment is scheduled from 11/16/2026 through 02/14/2027.
