Senior Director, Marketing

The Sr. Director, Marketing will lead brand strategy and execution for Plozasiran (siRNA targeting APOC3) for patients with Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (sHTG). This high-visibility leadership role shapes marketing strategy, builds a high-performing team, and drives cross-functional alignment to ensure launch success. Over time, scope may expand to additional cardiometabolic indications and pipeline products, including Zodasiran. Responsibilities Lead brand planning (situation analysis, competitive landscape, strategic priorities, tactical launch plans). Drive product positioning, campaign development, and messaging across HCP and patient audiences. Develop and implement market development tactics to build awareness of unmet need. Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across HCP promotion, patient marketing, digital, and online media. Lead omnichannel campaigns, microtargeting, and next-best-action programs. Support planning and execution of national sales meetings. Partner with Business Analytics to generate market insights and optimize customer communication. Manage creative, agency of record, media, digital, and peer-to-peer agency partners. Oversee project timelines and budgets; participate in monthly budget forecasting. Partner with Market Access to advance patient support services program. Requirements Bachelor’s degree. 12+ years pharmaceutical/biotech marketing; 5 years in a leadership role. Direct product launch experience. Proven success building and leading marketing teams in a matrixed organization. Track record partnering with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales for integrated launch execution. Executive presence; able to influence senior leadership and represent the brand with KOLs/industry partners. Experience managing external agencies and marketing budgets. Ability to coordinate multiple priorities with attention to detail. Comfortable with shifting priorities and uncertainty. Minimum 25% travel. Preferred MBA or advanced degree. Rare disease, cardiometabolic, or lipid-disorder experience; dyslipidemias focus. Experience in smaller, rapidly growing company.
