USVC leverages AngelList's network of 4,500+ active managers running 25,000+ funds and backing 13,000+ active startups to access exposure to tomorrow's defining companiesAbout the RoleThis is a rare opportunity to reshape how the public invests in innovation. You'll come in at the ground level to help build a world-class operations function at the forefront of venture and fintech, backed by AngelList's platform and reputation. You will own transforming investment decisions into closed positions. You will support USVC and a growing range of co-invest vehicles, accounts, and funds as our asset management business scales. This role owns the process that scales expanding private market access.Responsibilities:Perform investment diligenceOwn end-to-end investment controlsComplete investment documentation and coordinate executionOrchestrate wire approvalsBuild and maintain audit file for every investmentManage exit operationsSupport valuation and reporting cyclesSettle transactions with custodiansWhat we're looking for:4-6 years running transaction-level operations for private funds, RIAs, fund administrators, or custodiansTrack record owning fund operationsActively applying AI to build systems and gain leverageSystems mindset, someone who looks for root causes and address patternsComfortable building new controls and adopting to new transaction structuresHigh attention to detail and low tolerance for unintentional riskWorking HereIf you don't meet every requirement above, we still encourage you to apply. For most roles on those teams, we work from the office at least two days per week (Tuesdays and either Wednesday or Thursday). Compensation: The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, and equity package. The base salary for this role is $150,000+ annually but actual will vary based on a number of factors including a candidate's professional background, experience, and location.
