Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years postpartum experience.
- Labor & Delivery experience and IV start skills required.
- EPIC charting experience required.
- BLS and IV certification required.
- Preferred: prior travel nursing experience.
- RN must pass an EKG exam prior to start.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide family-centered care for postpartum mothers and their infants.
Monitor and assess postpartum mothers and newborns, including those with complications.
Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed.
Support lactation and breastfeeding efforts.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Document patient care and outcomes in the electronic health record system.
Compliance / Notes
Orientation: 36 hours.
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting immediately after booking; compliance deadline is the Tuesday prior to start.
Pre-approved time off is allowed (two per posting).
