Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - NEW WAGE $45hr Full & Part Time Opportunities Available
At Hudson Springs Nursing and Rehab, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch transitional care to our patients in a correctional environment. As a Respiratory Therapist (RRT), you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, delivering exceptional patient care and support.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RRT to join our team, working full and part-time hours with 8- or 12-hour shift options available. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating assigned patients in conjunction with our doctors, while also establishing and assisting in the care plans for our patients.
Responsibilities:
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients within a correctional environment
• Assist in establishing patient treatment plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields is not required, as we provide training
• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
