Construction Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a litigation associate to join its Construction group in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of litigation experience, including at least two years in construction litigation. This role involves handling construction defect or delay claims, design negligence, breach of contract claims, and payment disputes. Duties Manage construction-related litigation cases. Draft and review legal documents and pleadings. Conduct legal research and analysis. Collaborate with clients and peers to develop case strategies. Requirements Three to six years of litigation experience. At least two years of construction litigation experience. Strong academic credentials. Excellent writing and research skills. Ability to build strong client and peer relationships. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Ohio State Bar. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
