Hiring: IP Engineer III

Location: Dallas, TX or Houston, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite: Wednesday & Thursday)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client is seeking an experienced IP Engineer III to design, implement, support, and optimize carrier-grade IP/MPLS networks in a large-scale service provider environment.

Required Skills:

• Carrier-grade IP/MPLS Networks
• BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS
• Layer 2 VPN (L2VPN) & Layer 3 VPN (L3VPN)
• Carrier Ethernet
• Traffic Engineering & High Availability
• Network Design, Capacity Planning & Optimization
• Advanced Routing & Switching Troubleshooting
• Juniper, Cisco, Nokia, and Ciena
• Packet Capture & Performance Analysis
• Network Documentation & Implementation Planning

Preferred Skills:

• Python, Ansible, NETCONF, YANG, or gNMI
• DWDM, ROADM, Optical Transport
• EVPN, Segment Routing, Data Center Interconnect (DCI)
• Service Provider Certifications (JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, Nokia, or Ciena)

Experience:

• 10–15+ years of experience in Carrier Networking, Service Provider Networks, or Telecommunications.
