Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector

We are looking to hire Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors to perform residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. Please visit our website to learn more about us and the industry: Job Title Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector County Coverage Ada, Adams, Boise, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, Valley, Washington Mortgage Property Inspection Overview Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on the properties they have financial interest in. The lender contracts with GIS to have inspectors verify property occupancy, report general conditions, deliver/post letters, conduct vacant interior walk‑throughs, or report insurance repair progress. Most inspections are basic exteriors; some require door‑knock or letter delivery, and others require interior access to secured or vacant properties for appointment‑based insurance loss inspections. Job Responsibilities Spend extended periods of time driving. Manage time efficiently to route and complete inspections with an estimated 3–5 day turnaround time in your agreed territory. Determine occupancy based on industry standards and report general property conditions. Use the mobile app InspectorADE to capture photographs, comments, and form documentation. Maintain consistent communication with your inspection manager via text, e‑mail, and phone. Requirements Experience preferred, not required. Complete a background check and obtain a Shield ID (Aspen Grove ABC#) using a valid driver’s license; if onboarded with GIS, we provide the link to obtain your Shield ID. Computer and reliable internet connection. Vehicle with good gas mileage. iPhone or Android device. Printer. Volt stick. Set of 11 HUD keys (Inspector keys); if onboarded with GIS, we provide a discounted link to obtain them. Daylight availability. Office supplies (paper, envelopes, ink). Pay Set rate per inspection ($15–$20 per hour based on location and the number of inspections performed).
