Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced ATM Technical Support & Configuration Specialist to support enterprise ATM and self-service banking software solutions. This is a customer-facing technical position focused on ATM software configuration XFS NDC network certification troubleshooting and multivendor terminal environments .
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting ATM software or terminal applications and understand the relationship between ATM hardware XFS service providers terminal applications NDC messaging and payment/network infrastructure .
We are looking for someone who can configure and troubleshoot ATM software environments support network certifications analyze technical issues and work directly with financial institutions processors and other technical partners.
Responsibilities

• Configure deploy and support ATM/self-service terminal applications and management software.
• Provide customer-facing technical support to financial institutions and industry partners.
• Support XFS-based multivendor ATM environments across multiple manufacturers.
• Configure and troubleshoot NDC/NDC communications and emulation .
• Participate in new customer and ATM network certification processes.
• Troubleshoot institution-specific NDC configurations and messaging issues.
• Diagnose issues across the ATM hardware XFS terminal application and network/host layers .
• Analyze technical problems that cannot be resolved through standard configuration changes.
• Support testing implementation configuration and deployment of new ATM functionality.
• Work with third-party payment processors and customer technical teams to resolve integration issues.
• Document configurations troubleshooting steps testing results and customer requirements.
• Travel periodically to customer sites and technical labs including locations in New Jersey and Dallas TX .
• Collaborate with software development/R&D teams when issues require deeper product-level investigation.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience with ATM/self-service banking technology .
• Strong working knowledge of XFS/CEN-XFS .
• Experience with NDC/NDC preferably including configuration emulation troubleshooting or certification.
• Understanding of multivendor ATM terminal applications .
• Ability to understand the relationship between ATM hardware components XFS/service providers terminal applications and host/network communications.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical support implementation configuration or professional-services capacity.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with NCR/NCR Atleos Diebold Nixdorf Phoenix Interactive or similar ATM software environments .
• Experience performing ATM/network certifications for financial institutions or processors.
• Knowledge of 91x/912 protocols or related ATM host communications.
• Experience with third-party ATM processors/payment networks.
• ATM application configuration deployment or implementation experience.
• Software development or scripting experience is a plus.
• Experience with C# .NET or similar technologies is a plus but not required.
• Experience troubleshooting ATM applications beyond standard configuration-level support.
