Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular sonography for a day-shift outpatient imaging role.

Details

• Outpatient imaging department within a 400-bed facility
• Specialties include Abdominal, OB/GYN (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester), Vascular, Small Parts, and Pediatrics
• Average caseload of 11-14 exams per 12-hour shift
• Equipment used includes Philips Epiq, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon Transducer Cleaning system
• Epic EMR used
• Schedule is Monday-Wednesday, 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Backup call required

Requirements

• RDMS certification required; ARRT(S) also accepted
• BLS certification required
• 1+ years of experience in General, OB, and Vascular sonography required
• RVT certification and RDMS (AB or OB) preferred
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of studies including abdominal, soft tissue head/neck, thyroidectomy post-op scans, pelvic with transvaginal and Doppler, testicular with Doppler, renal and liver Doppler, upper/lower extremity venous and arterial studies, pylorus, appendix, infant brain/hips/spine, hemodialysis access, carotid duplex, and OB studies
• Patient-centered approach with strong independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
• Must be adaptable to change with a flexible, go-with-the-flow attitude
• Scrub attire includes charcoal grey top and bottom, solid-colored undershirt (black, white, or grey), grey scrub jacket, and non-porous shoes
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius accepted at a reduced rate
