Job Overview Window Contractor Sales – Marysville, Washington. Base salary $64,683–$82,323 per year with commission structure. Monday–Friday, 7am to 4pm. Responsibilities Execute all aspects of sales call process and strategies, coordinating business activities of accounts and executing PARR sales initiatives. Support the sales team by creating quotes, processing orders, and managing construction schedules. Interact daily with Location Managers, internal and external customers, corporate employees (Central Purchasing, Account Management, IT), vendor representatives, and industry associates. Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers. Communicate effectively with a wide number of customers in the residential construction industry and facilitate timely flow of building materials to job sites. Use, promote and facilitate the PARR Bridge Strategy. Set, pursue, and meet or exceed personal sales and profit goals. Deepen customer relationships and schedule timely material shipments to ensure account profitability, customer satisfaction, and loyalty. Sell on overall quality, value, and service rather than price. Precisely and efficiently manage time and prioritize workflow in a fast‑paced environment. Communicate with dispatch to avoid overpromising deliveries. Sends pictures of returns to dispatch with pickup requests. Maintain customer profiles in Outlook or CRM including full name, company name, title, office number, cell number, email, and matrix. Follow best practices in order entry and all aspects of job setup. Walk customers through products in store. Introduce oneself to customers and use their names when possible. Manage open orders to ensure invoicing is timely or orders are deleted. Take action to achieve objectives without waiting for management directives. Use DDMS to ensure customer satisfaction. Follow SPC guidelines and maintain proper GP%. Complete purchase orders on time, confirm confirmation, and tie PO to order. Greet walk‑in customers professionally. Answer phone promptly with a professional greeting. Identify customer urgency and complete orders quickly. Learn product applications for the end user. Confirm customer material needs prior to ordering. Exceed profitable SPC pricing guidelines. Complete quotes and follow up in a timely manner. Be proactive with customer needs. Maintain a PARR share file for customer plans and take‑offs. Ensure inventory arrives, communicate with customers, and manage all related responsibilities. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least 2 years of sales experience; prior experience in the building materials industry preferred. Class C driver’s license with a good driving record. Proficient with personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and other equipment necessary for the role. Typing speed of 30+ words per minute. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong English speaking, writing, and reading skills. Knowledge of building materials and their uses. Ability to develop relationships that translate into new business. Capacity to execute PARR selling strategies and initiatives. Understanding of PARR purchasing principles, practices, and protocols. Commitment to aggressively pursue company interests when selling to customers. Flexibility and adaptability to daily changing customer needs. Preparedness for individual and group sales meetings. Ability to meet or exceed aggressive sales goals. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Willingness to share departmental responsibilities to meet deadlines. Puncture‑resistant, slip‑resistant shoes made of leather or composite material. Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of customer service. Sound judgment in dealing with sensitive business matters with internal and external customers. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of company financial information. Identify processes or tools that may be improved to enhance workplace outcomes. Effective communication at all organizational levels, including public speaking to medium‑sized groups. Physical Requirements Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods. Work indoors in a normal office environment full day. Operate a computer and keyboard. Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and carry objects up to 50 feet. Work outdoors in all weather conditions. Local and overnight travel may be required.
