Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching License
• Active CDE certification
• Previous experience in affective needs or related classroom settings is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with affective needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to ensure student growth
• Create engaging, differentiated instructional activities that promote both academic and emotional development
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Foster a safe, respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and self-advocacy
