Overview As Joby scales, we are seeking a Senior or Staff Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for high-leverage business, operational, and executive roles across finance, people, marketing, business development, and operations. Partnering directly with senior leaders, you will drive searches end-to-end from initial outreach to signed offer. This role is ideal for a data-driven recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves the hunt, and has the interpersonal skills and executive credibility to engage and close exceptional talent foundational to Joby’s growth. Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruitment for specialized and executive-level positions, overseeing searches end-to-end from initial strategy alignment to final offer negotiationDevelop innovative, scalable talent pipeline strategies and candidate engagement frameworks to attract top-tier passive talent across the industryEstablish standard selection criteria and structured interview processes to ensure rigorous, objective, and equitable evaluation of candidates across teamsAnalyze recruitment data and talent market intelligence to influence hiring decisions, optimize pipeline conversion rates, and advise senior leadership on strategic workforce reviewServe as a subject matter expert and partner to the broader People Team, mentoring junior team members and continuously refining overall talent acquisition methodologies Required Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), combined with a minimum of 8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience for G&A/Business functions in fast-paced environments (including 2+ years recruiting executive-level talent); 10+ years preferred for Staff levelProven ability to partner with, advise, and influence C-level executives and senior business leadersDemonstrated expertise in utilizing data-driven decision-making, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and CRM tools to drive recruitment strategy and pipeline managementAbility to work on-site in Santa Cruz, CA or Marina, CA a minimum of 3 days per week Desired Experience with iCIMS ATS systemExperience using Gem CRMInternational recruiting experienceBackground in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, high-tech, or start-up industries Additional Information Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $125,900 - $206,600.
