Job Summary Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist – Walnut Creek, California. Start ASAP for a 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week with 8‑hour shifts in a travel role. Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Recognize indications and contraindications to treatment, modify treatment programs, and be familiar with normal and abnormal patient responses. Instruct patients and families as needed, adapting conventional speech‑therapy techniques to meet individual patient needs. Document concisely, accurately, and legibly all charting and paperwork. Follow ASHA guidelines for ethical and high‑quality job performance. Qualifications Active state license as a speech‑language pathologist. Current BLS/CPR certification.
