Location: Southfield, MI | In-Office
Schedule: Part-Time, Approximately 24 Hours/Week
Duration: Approximately 5 Months

An attorney in Southfield is seeking an experienced, highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal for a part-time contract assignment. The ideal candidate is independent, adaptable, and comfortable managing day-to-day casework with minimal supervision, primarily involving automobile accident cases.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personal injury files and monitor case deadlines and calendars.
• Draft and respond to interrogatories, prepare pleadings, and draft correspondence.
• Handle Michigan e-filing and maintain accurate case documentation.
• Track schedules, deadlines, and upcoming obligations while proactively reminding the attorney of important dates and tasks.
• Work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior personal injury paralegal experience, preferably with auto accident cases.
• Experience answering interrogatories, drafting pleadings and letters, and e-filing in Michigan courts is required.
• Strong calendaring, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
