We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a litigation practice in Michigan. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in medical malpractice and personal injury matters who can manage case activity from initial filing through trial readiness. The right candidate will bring sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to keep multiple cases moving efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate case files for medical malpractice and personal injury matters, ensuring documents, deadlines, and court requirements are tracked accurately.

• Prepare and organize discovery materials, including drafting responses, assembling productions, and monitoring follow-up items.

• Support attorneys throughout civil litigation proceedings by maintaining pleadings, filings, and case-related correspondence.

• Assist with trial preparation by compiling exhibits, witness materials, timelines, and other supporting documentation.

• Manage case information within case management software to maintain complete, current, and accessible records.

• Review medical records, legal documents, and supporting evidence to help develop organized case summaries and litigation materials.

• Communicate with clients, experts, courts, and outside parties to gather information and help move matters forward.

• Monitor litigation calendars and key milestones to help ensure timely filings, responses, and hearing preparation.

• Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience supporting medical malpractice and/or personal injury litigation.
• Practical knowledge of discovery processes, civil litigation procedures, and trial preparation activities.
• Experience working with plaintiff-side personal injury matters and related legal documentation.
• Proficiency with case management software and the ability to maintain accurate electronic case records.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a legal office setting.
• High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive case information with professionalism.
