Job Description
We are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to the medical provider team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
File management (both physical and electronic)
Records request and depositions
Data entry
Filing of court documents (both physical and electronic)
Calendar Management with a focus on litigation deadlines
Communication with clients, courts, opposing counsel and their respective staff
Other miscellaneous responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
Familiarity with Personal Injury laws, legal procedures and protocols, and the court system
Computer literacy and satisfactory knowledge of daily operations of a legal office
Proficient with MS Office and Adobe
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Deadline and detail-oriented
Knowledge of Prolaw is a plus
