Using the nursing process, the Emergency Department RN coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the Emergency Department providers and other patient team members. Qualities: This vibrant and forward-thinking RN will possess strong critical thinking, flexibility and communication skills. The ability to work independently but also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing patient-centered care is a must.
