Work Environment\n

The role is designed to be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to our outpatient clinic in Babylon, New York, when in-person consultations are needed. Standard working hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, supporting a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to accurately identify their unique care needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions, targeting emotional and psychological challenges associated with aging, such as depression, anxiety, and grief.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, social workers, and families, to ensure the creation and execution of holistic care plans.

• Educate families and caregivers on methods to improve the emotional and mental health of elderly individuals, providing them tools to support their loved ones as they navigate life changes.

• Prepare for and conduct grief counseling sessions, assisting clients and their families in coping with loss and end-of-life issues.

• Implement tailored cognitive stimulation programs aimed at nurturing mental acuity and delaying cognitive decline in older adults through various activities and therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 65,000 to 95,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, successful candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.
