Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantJonathan White CPA, PLLC is currently seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with 1-3 years of recent full cycle public accounting experience with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online for a full-time position.As a Full Charge Accountant, you will be responsible for multiple clients (25 - 30 monthly). The ideal applicant must be able to receive raw data and be able to prepare year-end closeout, possess a strong work ethic, excellent client communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.W2s & 1099 reportingEnter and classify client dataHandle routine client questionsPrepare bank and credit card reconciliationsUtilize QuickBooks with ability to train clientsFixed Asset TrackingPrepare financial statements for CPA reviewPrepare journal entries for month and year-end closePrepare Payroll, Sales & Use Tax Returns, Property Tax ReturnsAssisting with ad-hoc projects & Tax Return preparations as neededBachelor's Degree preferred, but candidates with strong equivalent experience will be considered1+ yrs of full charge accounting experience in public accounting with a strong knowledge of QuickBooks OnlineExcellent written and verbal communication skills to work with clients and coworkersKnowledge/experience with preparing quarterly tax estimates is a plusExperience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operationOrganizational skills, attention to detail and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable working on multiple open projects and clients at one timeIntimate knowledge of Intuit platforms and fluent in Microsoft suite, proficient with QuickBooks (Online); experience with Practice CS is a plusEnergized professional with a client first mentalityPositive, team-oriented mindsetAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.We are a forward-thinking, modern CPA firm with a focus on providing exceptional advisory services for our clients nationwide.
