Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include physical exams and meticulous reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing surgical areas, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and efficiently handing over surgical instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative patient care encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
