Calibration Technician

Now Hiring: Travel Calibration Technicians – Technician Level II-III Mobile, AL JM Test Systems is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Calibration Technician to perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) in both lab and field environments. You’ll ensure precision, safety, and compliance with top industry standards while delivering exceptional customer service. Role Responsibilities Lead complex calibrations, repairs, and troubleshooting for specialized equipment Manage onsite projects and communicate status to customers and management Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Support process improvements and technical training programs Qualifications 0-4 years technical experience in calibration, repair, or related fields Knowledge of test equipment and industry standards Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Associate’s degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field Experience with automated calibration systems (e.g., Fluke MET/TEAM) Hands-on experience with mechanical and digital pressure measurement instruments Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance HSA with employer contribution 401(k) with company matching Paid Time Off: vacation, sick leave, birthday, and holidays Employer-paid life insurance Travel Incentives $2/hour additional pay when assigned to a project Meal subsistence for travel 50+ miles and away 12+ hours All travel expenses covered (vehicle, fuel, hotel) TWIC and OSHA card costs covered (including renewals) Company-provided PPE for projects Work Environment Lab-based (indoors) and field-based (outdoors) Use of mobile labs and travel trailers Regional travel with collaborative team support Schedule 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday Overtime and weekends as needed If you’re technically skilled, safety-conscious, and enjoy hands-on work in changing environments, we want to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
