The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations as part of the Commercial Intelligence and Analytics organization. The Sales Operations team will work closely with Commercial Analytics, Sales and Marketing leadership, and where appropriate, Sales Excellence, to develop and deploy best in class programs and processes to contribute towards the development of a high-performance sales team.While this individual will have primary responsibility for a specific area, the position lends itself to working across areas when a specific business issue warrants it.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Territory Optimization & Alignment Develop robust models to quantify workload within sales territories and recommend optimal alignments to sales management. Manage the ongoing territory alignment process for the division and sales team(s) of focus.Quota Methodology Develop, execute and maintain predictive quota setting methodologies to ensure fair and accurate quota setting for the field sales organization. A focus on continuous improvement is essential to refine and optimize methodology and performance distribution.Sales Compensation Planning & Analysis Support annual sales compensation planning process for the division and team(s) of focus. Ensure alignment of incentives with divisional strategic priorities and develop simulation models to minimize financial risk. Evaluate best practices to ensure plans are competitive and reward top performance. Develop analysis to assess plan performance throughout the year. Configure, maintain, and monitor our Xactly Incent sales compensation platform to ensure accurate payouts and performance metrics for the division and team(s) of focus.Sales Performance & KPI Reporting Working with sales leadership, identify and measure key performance indicators for the sales organization. Develop timely, accurate, and insightful reports and analysis to field sales and sales management related to sales performance and incentives.Additional tasks Internal field employee roster managementField employee SIP/Performance system onboardingAddress questions and concerns from the sales team in a timely manner related to territory alignments, quotas and sales incentive compensation payouts.EducationBachelor's degree with an aptitude and training for quantitative analysis required, Master's degree preferred.Experience5+ years of experience in an analytical support role requiredPrior sales incentives, analysis or operations experience required, preferably in healthcare sectorQualificationsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailStrong communication and presentation skillsSelf-driven with ability to shift priorities quickly & efficientlyExpertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and familiarity with reporting packages such as Oracle.Expertise in Xactly Incent and PowerBI preferredAbility to match/merge databases to facilitate appropriate analyses is requiredAbility to work independently and be a team playerMust be able to travel regularly to various Hologic sites and sales meetings as neededKey RelationshipsSalesCommercial AnalyticsSales ExcellenceFinanceHRMarketingISThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed.
