Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Days (0645-1915) every other weekend

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
• NRP and STABLE certifications preferred
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills required
• Previous experience in Labor and Delivery preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods for mothers and newborns.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process, utilizing appropriate assessment skills and techniques.
• Educate patients and families about childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Implement and follow established protocols for GYN surgical care as necessary.
