As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol a transportation-focused government location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, support access control, and provide professional customer service and communication to passengers, employees, and visitors. Day Time

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including initiating appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, including platforms, facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter criminal activity and reporting observations through established channels.
• Maintain required documentation, complete incident reports, and communicate relevant information to site representatives, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A primarily driving post is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
