Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Mother/Baby patients
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision of care for assigned patients
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct care team members
• Coordinate patient care activities in conjunction with other departments and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient rights and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with facility mission, values, and service standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Oklahoma
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Ability to float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Mother/Baby or Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with weekend scheduling requirements in an acute care environment
