Job Description

Looking for day shift nurses for Adult ICU areas—placement will be based on experience. Candidates will be required to work every other weekend and some holidays. Set schedules and time off more than 7 days in advance will not be granted. Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical records and level 1 or 2 trauma centers is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current New York State Registration
• Certified in BLS and able to be recertified
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care facility of similar size and trauma level
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
• Not named as a defendant in a professional liability claim
• Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
• Must pass pre-employment health screening
• All candidates will be subject to drug screening and criminal background check

Duties

Ability to perform the majority of patient care skills with good nursing assessment in an acute care setting, with minimal orientation and supervision.
