What You'll Do:
As a Days-RN in our Adult ICU, you'll provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your trauma and Epic EMR experience. You will work 12-hour shifts during the day, including every other weekend and some holidays, contributing to a team committed to saving lives and improving patient recovery. Your skills and compassionate approach will be vital in ensuring the highest standards of critical care.


Required Skills:

• Current New York State RN license
• Certification in BLS (be able to recertify)
• Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity within the past 2 years
• Previous Epic EMR experience preferred
• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers is highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• No suspension or investigation of professional license or certification
• Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and background check

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with hospital-level trauma care or critical care certifications
• Additional certifications such as CCRN or ACLS
• Experience working in large hospital settings or trauma centers

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 2 years of recent adult ICU experience, especially in trauma or high-acuity environments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays
• Ability to travel, if applicable, with reimbursement for licensure and certifications as needed
• Valid U.S. work authorization
