Generator Sales Consultant

KPB Generators is a growing, family-founded company that sells, installs, and services standby generators for homes and businesses across South Florida — a Generac Premier dealer that also services Kohler, Cummins, and CAT. One note that applies to all three: we’re in an aggressive build phase, so we want people who are excited to help create something — write the SOPs, take on more responsibility, and support strategic initiatives — not just fill a seat and work the day‑to‑day. What You'll Do Conduct in‑home consultations: assess the home’s power needs and right‑size the generator. Prepare and present quotes; explain financing and membership/maintenance options. Follow up persistently and close; meet monthly sales targets. Keep the pipeline current and build estimates in; hand off cleanly to the install team. Own inbound leads from first contact through signed agreement — these are warm leads, not cold calls. What You Will Bring 5+ years of in‑home or consultative sales — home services, HVAC, solar, roofing, or remodeling a strong plus. Comfortable selling a considered, higher‑ticket purchase ($10–$25K+). Disciplined follow‑up and CRM habits; clear, trustworthy communication with homeowners. Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable local travel across Broward. Self‑motivated, coachable, and resilient.Wants to help build the sales function — shape the playbook and SOPs and grow into more responsibility — not just work assigned leads.
