Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our comprehensive rehabilitation center, where you'll collaborate alongside two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge rehabilitation equipment, exercise spaces, and private treatment rooms, allowing you to deliver personalized care in a supportive team atmosphere. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to understand their goals and physical requirements, delivering individualized care plans that reflect their specific needs.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused, quality interactions that facilitate recovery.
• To utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient practices, implement comprehensive treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and innovative modalities.
• Encourage and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, providing motivation and education aimed at optimizing their physical functioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to offer holistic care, ensuring that every aspect of a patient's rehabilitation is considered and addressed.
• Assess treatment outcomes regularly, documenting progress meticulously to inform ongoing adjustments and improvements to the patients' timelines and strategies.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs, empowering patients to take an active role in maintaining their health beyond rehabilitation.
• Advocate for preventive care strategies that enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our focus on private insurance patients allows for a tailored approach that prioritizes individual progress and positive outcomes. You will serve a diverse clientele, ranging from athletes aiming to return to peak performance to older adults seeking to regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT), reflecting a solid foundation in advanced physical rehabilitation techniques.
• A clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions by licensing boards.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques, complemented by strong competencies in developing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with particular experience using WebPT, to ensure efficient patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist, specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality physical therapy services, with a track record of helping patients achieve optimal recovery and mobility.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to 140,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
