Oncology Account Specialist - Houston, Texas

AstraZeneca seeks an Oncology Account Specialist in Houston to engage healthcare providers on genitourinary cancer treatments. The role involves developing account strategies, conducting clinical education, and identifying customer needs across the patient journey while partnering with internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess account priorities and identify clinical trends relevant to local tumor types
- Conduct opportunity assessments to map multidisciplinary customers across the patient journey
- Develop tumor-focused business plans and engagement strategies with key account partners
- Educate healthcare providers on drug efficacy, safety, dosing, and companion diagnostics
- Collaborate with field team to identify cross-brand engagement opportunities
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales or commercial experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, or related industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
- Oncology sales experience in genitourinary, gynecology, prostate, urology, or bladder cancer
- Ability to learn, analyze, and communicate complex medical information
- Track record of building customer relationships across in-person and virtual channels
