Work Environment

You will typically work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain work-life balance while dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focused on preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring optimal function.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations utilizing diagnostic tests to assess muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with physical therapy assistants, overseeing their implementation of treatment plans to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Assess home environments for rehabilitation suitability, providing recommendations to increase independence and mobility of clients.
• Perform manual therapy techniques including exercises, traction, and massage to facilitate patient recovery.
• Evaluate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices as necessary, recommending modifications to enhance patient functionality.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans accordingly.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with agency policies.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families on care plans and the use of physical therapy devices, ensuring they are empowered to engage in their recovery.
• Remain accessible to provide supervisory support to Physical Therapy Assistants during treatment sessions to ensure high standards of care.
• Complete additional duties and projects as necessary to achieve the objectives outlined by Calibre Ortho Care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Calibre Ortho Care, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, individuals with chronic pain conditions, and elderly clients requiring rehabilitative therapy to maintain independence. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapy license in good standing in Florida.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist, preferably in acute care or home care settings.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance is necessary for patient home visits.
• Proven ability to make independent decisions and embrace creative problem-solving.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with documentation standards, including OASIS assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this full-time Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
