Sr. Financial Analyst (Commercial Real Estate) - Arlington, VA

Role Overview Sr. Financial Analyst – Commercial Real Estate (Arlington, VA, in‑office Monday – Friday) – Supports the Business Unit Finance Team for the Commercial Real Estate business by performing financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to drive revenue and expense forecasting and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with finance staff and cross‑functional leaders (President/General Manager, Sales, Marketing, Product) to develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and the budgeting system. Analyze revenue drivers, including sales rep productivity, sales activities, SaaS metrics, and EBITDA drivers. Support Sales and Executive Leadership with reporting needs, providing actionable insights and aligning results to strategic objectives. Maintain customer analysis—penetration, total addressable market sizing, and campaign performance metrics. Track expenses, create budgets, perform forecasting, and conduct variance and profitability analysis for the business unit. Partner with Marketing to evaluate advertising campaign effectiveness, perform search engine marketing cost analysis, and recommend cost efficiencies. Create PowerPoint materials for management presentations, quarterly business reviews, and strategic decision‑making. Evaluate, model, and analyze M&A targets that align with the supported business units as needed. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, analytics, and/or sales operations. Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; advanced financial modeling ability. Experience with financial and budgeting applications. Demonstrated commitment to prior employers. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a proven record of collaborating with financial and non‑financial stakeholders. FP&A experience within a publicly traded company or large SaaS organization. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, strategic thinking, and attention‑to‑detail capabilities. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience with Oracle ERP, EPM, SmartView, Power BI, or other financial reporting/business intelligence tools.
