Recruitment Specialist – Enrollment Location: Los Angeles, CA. Reporting to the Director of Admissions. Responsibilities Represent the university at high school/community college visits, college nights/fairs, and transfer day/fairs. Assist in planning school visits, schedule and deliver presentations, and conduct follow‑up visits. Identify potential students, provide information about higher education and the university, and promote goodwill on behalf of the university. Recruit, advise, and evaluate admissions requirements for prospective students. Educe the public (K‑12, community college, community based organizations, stakeholders) about admissions requirements, policies, and processes. Develop and implement outreach programs for student recruitment. Create an outreach strategy for the assigned territory in collaboration with the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Director of Admissions. Engage prospective students via phone, Zoom, in‑person, and email to build relationships and generate interest in all programs. Gather leads from events and outreach efforts and maintain an updated lead list to drive application submissions. Collaborate with other higher education institutions and community college partners to organize and host informational events and expand recruiting opportunities. Assist in planning and implementing on‑ and off‑campus special events, including College Days, College Fairs, and on‑campus events. Participate in virtual student recruitment and outreach campaigns. Manage travel calendars, logistics, and arrangements for off‑campus recruitment outreach. Perform daily outreach work including phone duty, counter duty, presentations, and student advising. Conduct follow‑up visits and plan yield activities in the spring. Use social media to generate interest in programs, and market programs to prospective students. Maintain records of all recruiting and outreach events for WASC reporting. Provide additional support to admissions and onboarding processes. Offer workshops and presentations, and conduct individual and group pre‑admissions advising sessions, both on and off campus, and preliminary transcript evaluations. Conduct recruitment activities within the outreach territory to grow the pipeline (up to 80% travel at peak times to off‑campus schools or community sites, conferences, etc.). Travel to off‑campus locations for special activities or conferences as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 2‑4 years of recruitment experience in higher education (open to individuals with sales experience who want a career in higher ed). CRM experience: Salesforce, PeopleSoft, Slate. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Relationship building skills and public speaking experience. Creative, gritty attitude, and adaptability. Marketing or business degree (or equivalent mentality). Experience in a metrics‑based environment. Data analysis experience and ability to produce quarterly reports. Salary 66,000–70,000USD per year.
