Pharmacy Clerk

Full Time Pay: $15.00 per hour, Part Time Pay: $12.00 per hour, Performance Bonus/Profit Sharing ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Clerk to provide excellent customer service to our clients. In this position, you will assist the pharmacist, answer phone calls, greet customers, assist customers with questions and needs, confirm patient and insurance information, and handle payments. When not working with customers, you will review inventory and help keep our shelves stocked and organized. Our ideal candidate has at least one year of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a pharmacy or medical office, and is familiar with medical terminology. RESPONSIBILITIES - Display OUTSTANDING customer service skills by greeting customers and providing friendly, courteous service at all times. - Answer phone calls - Be Professional in Appearance and Demeanor - Sterilize surfaces and equipment - Greet patrons and answer questions - Receive prescriptions and check their validity - Sort, stock, reorder, and monitor inventory daily - Keep shelves organized and clean - Collect patient, payment, and insurance information - Operate Point of Sale accurately and give orders to customers - Undertake administrative tasks as assigned - Interact with other medical professionals as needed to resolve issues for patients - Comply with all security measures, quality standards, and appropriate legal regulations SKILLS NEEDED - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Problem solving skills - Cashier or customer service experience, preferably in a medical or pharmacy setting - Outstanding organizational and math skills - Reliable with a keen eye for detail - Aptitude with computers - Familiarity with medical insurance claims - Likes to do work that matters and change lives - Enjoys having fun and smiling a lot!
