DescriptionThe Division of Pediatric Cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) and the Children’s Heart Center at Mount Sinai seeks a full-time, BC/BE pediatric cardiologist to work as an inpatient cardiologist at Mount Sinai.ResponsibilitiesThe candidate should have an interest in general cardiology with a particular emphasis on inpatient consultation as well as cardiac critical care consultation. The candidate would join 16 other Children’s Heart Center pediatric cardiology faculty members as well as six categorical pediatric cardiology fellows, one advanced imaging fellow, one adult congenital heart fellow, two pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, a dedicated pediatric cardiac ICU and a dedicated cardiac anesthesiology service.QualificationsDoctor of Medicine degree from an accredited programNew York State Medical License or eligibilityBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric CardiologyHas an interest in helping build a robust program near NYCMeet eligibility requirements for appointment to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount SinaiCompensation range from 270K to 350K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)Salary Disclosure Information: Mount Sinai Health System provides a salary range to comply with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.
